What should be noted when changing the hydraulic oil of a hydraulic press?

When changing the hydraulic oil of a hydraulic press, the following points should be noted:

Preparatory work

- Select the appropriate hydraulic oil: According to the requirements of the hydraulic press's user manual, choose the corresponding specification

 and model of hydraulic oil to ensure its performance meets the equipment requirements.

- Prepare tools and containers: Get all the necessary tools ready, such as wrenches, oil filters, oil drums, etc., and make sure the tools are clean and 

free of oil stains. Meanwhile, prepare enough clean containers for storing old oil and new oil.

- Clean the surface of the equipment: Before changing the hydraulic oil, clean the exterior of the hydraulic press and the surrounding environment

thoroughly to prevent dust and debris from entering the oil tank during the oil change process.

Oil change process

- Shut down and release pressure: Stop the hydraulic press, cut off the power supply, and release the pressure in the system through the oil drain 

valve or other means to prevent safety accidents caused by pressurized operation.

- Drain the old oil: Open the oil drain valve at the bottom of the oil tank and drain the old oil into the designated container. When discharging, it is 

necessary to ensure that the oil is drained as completely as possible. You can appropriately rotate the workbench or other components to allow the 

oil in the system to flow out fully.

- Clean the fuel tank and oil filter: After the old oil has been drained, use a dedicated cleaning agent or a clean cloth to wipe and clean the inside of

 the fuel tank to remove oil stains, impurities and sediment. At the same time, remove the oil filter for cleaning or replace the filter element to 

ensure the filtration effect.

- Add new oil: Slowly add new oil to the oil tank through an oil filter until it reaches the liquid level specified by the oil gauge. During the refueling 

process, be careful to avoid splashing of the oil and the mixture of impurities.

Inspection and Debugging

- Check the oil level and sealing performance: After the oiling is completed, check the oil level of the hydraulic oil again to ensure it is normal. At 

the same time, check the sealing of each pipeline, joint and other parts. If there is any leakage, it should be dealt with in time.

- Startup and commissioning: Start the hydraulic press and let the equipment run for a period of time under no-load conditions to ensure that the 

hydraulic oil circulates fully in the system and expel the air in the system. Check the operation of each component, including whether parameters 

such as pressure, flow rate and oil temperature are normal.
