How to choose an air compressor correctly?

Air compressors refer to compressors that compress air as the medium. 1. By gas delivery volume (referring to the volume of gas discharged by the air compressor per minute converted into the suction state) :

There are small machines (with an exhaust volume of less than 10 cubic meters per minute), medium-sized machines (with an exhaust volume ranging from 10 to 100 cubic meters per minute), and large machines (with an exhaust volume of over 100 cubic meters per minute).

2. By structural type:

There are rotary, piston and diaphragm air compressors. The common types include piston type and screw type and vane type in rotary type. The rotor profile of screw compressors is complex and the manufacturing cost is high, but they are small in size, light in weight and have small parts. Under the same displacement, screw compressors are more expensive than piston compressors, and maintenance personnel must also have specialized knowledge and experience.

3. According to the centerline and relative position of the cylinder:

It can be classified into vertical, horizontal and Angle air compressors. Among them, the angular type is further divided into V-shaped, W-shaped, L-shaped, etc. Generally speaking, since piston compressors are reciprocating machines, they all have a certain degree of vibration. The angular type can better balance its inertial force, so most small and medium-sized piston compressors are made in the angular type.

4. According to the cooler method：

It can be divided into water-cooled and air-cooled air compressors. The water-cooled type uses an open circulation of tap water for cooling. Air-cooled type is cooled by a fan.

5. According to the different engines:

Air compressors can be classified into those driven by electric motors and those driven by diesel engines. The large electric type is equipped with a distribution cabinet, and the diesel-driven type is started by a battery. Both types of compressors are available in direct connection and side connection.

6. By lubrication method:

It can be divided into oil-free type and oil-lubricated type air compressors.
