Introduction to the design features of the hydraulic press for coin embossing

1. Ultra-high precision molding

1.1 Pressure range: 50~500 tons (depending on the coin diameter and the depth of the relief, such as 1-inch coins usually require 100~200 tons).

1.2 Centering: The coaxiality error of the mold is ≤0.005mm to avoid pattern deviation (using a pre-tightened four-column or frame structure).

1.3 Surface treatment: The workbench is mirror polished (Ra≤0.2μm) to prevent scratches on the coin surface.

2. Multi-station integration

2.1 Three-step molding: pre-pressing of the blank → precision embossing → edge rolling/pressing (multi-station turntable hydraulic press is optional).

2.2 Temperature control module: Carbide blanks need to be heated to 300~600℃ (such as copper-nickel alloy).

3. Dynamic pressure control

3.1 Servo hydraulic system: Real-time adjustment of pressure curve to adapt to the depth changes of complex relief (such as facial details of characters).

3.2 Peak pressure maintenance: Maintain high pressure for 3~5 seconds to ensure clear edges and corners of the pattern.

4. Automation support

4.1 Automatic feeding: Vibration plate + manipulator accurately locates the blank (tolerance ±0.1mm).

4.2 Waste collection: Negative pressure adsorption system for waste at the edge of the punching.
