The four-column hydraulic press operates based on PASCAL's principle. It mainly converts hydraulic energy into mechanical
energy through the hydraulic system to achieve processing of workpieces, as follows:
Power transmission
The motor drives the hydraulic pump to operate, drawing oil from the oil tank and pressurizing it for output, thus forming high-pressure oil.
High-pressure oil is conveyed to each hydraulic cylinder through oil pipes.
Pressure conversion and transmission
According to PASCAL's principle, in a closed liquid system, the pressure applied to the stationary liquid will be simultaneously transmitted to
all points of the liquid at equal value. The four-column hydraulic press operates on this principle. When high-pressure oil enters the hydraulic
cylinder, the piston area remains constant, and the oil pressure will generate a corresponding thrust to drive the piston to move. The piston is
connected to components such as the slider, which in turn drives the slider to move up and down reciprocally, applying pressure to the workpiece
placed on the worktable for processing.
Motion control
Through various control valves, such as directional control valves, pressure control valves and flow control valves, the flow direction,
pressure and flow rate of the oil are controlled, thereby achieving precise control of the movement direction, speed and pressure of the slider
to meet the requirements of different processing techniques. For example, the directional control valve can change the flow direction of the oil,
causing the slider to rise or fall. The pressure control valve can regulate the system pressure to ensure that the appropriate pressure is applied
during the processing. The flow control valve controls the flow of the oil and thereby regulates the movement speed of the slider.
