What should be noted in the daily maintenance of a hydraulic press?

The following aspects should be noted for the daily maintenance of hydraulic presses:

Hydraulic system

- Oil inspection: Regularly check the oil level of the oil to ensure it is within the normal range. Add oil in time if it is insufficient. At the same time, 

samples of the oil should be taken for testing at the prescribed intervals to check its cleanliness, viscosity, moisture content and other indicators. 

If they do not meet the requirements, the oil should be replaced in a timely manner.

- Filter element replacement: According to the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil and the usage time, the suction oil filter element and return 

oil filter element should be replaced regularly. Generally, they should be replaced every 1000 to 2000 hours of operation or about half a year to ensure the cleanliness of the oil.

- System sealing: Regularly inspect all sealing parts of the hydraulic system, such as oil pipe joints and hydraulic cylinder seals. 

If any oil leakage is found, replace the seals in time.

Electrical system

- Inspection of electrical components: Check whether the connections of each electrical component are firm and whether there is any loosening,

 erosion or other phenomena. If any are found, they should be repaired or replaced in time.

- Circuit inspection: Check for any damage, aging, short circuits or other issues in the electrical circuits to ensure good insulation of the circuits. 

Replace aged or damaged circuits in a timely manner.

Mechanical components

Lubrication maintenance: For the moving parts of the hydraulic press, such as guide rails and sliders, regular lubrication should be carried out, 

generally at least once a week. Lubricating oil or grease can be applied to reduce wear.

- Inspection of fastening components: Check the fastening bolts, nuts and other connecting components of the machine body to ensure 

they are not loose. If any are loose, tighten them promptly.

Working environment

- Clean the working area: Keep the working area of the hydraulic press clean, promptly remove debris, oil stains, etc., 

to prevent them from entering the hydraulic system or affecting the normal operation of the machine.

- Environmental temperature control: The hydraulic press should operate in an appropriate temperature environment, 

generally ranging from 15 to 60℃. When the ambient temperature is too high, cooling measures can be taken. When the temperature is too low, 

preheating should be carried out.
