According to the structural form

Single-column hydraulic press: Generally, the working pressure and precision requirements are moderate, and common mineral oil can be selected.

If the working environment temperature varies greatly, mineral oil with a high viscosity index can be selected.

In environments with certain cleanliness requirements, mineral oil with high cleanliness and good filtration performance should be selected.

Four-column hydraulic press: It is usually used for processing under higher pressure and has high requirements for the viscosity and lubricity of the

 working medium. Mineral oil or synthetic oil with higher viscosity and good lubricating performance can be selected.

If the working environment is harsh, such as high temperature and much dust, synthetic oil with strong anti-wear, anti-oxidation and anti-pollution 

capabilities should be selected.

Frame-type hydraulic press: It has good structural rigidity and is often used for high-precision processing. It is necessary to select media with high 

cleanliness and good stability, such as high-quality mineral oil that has undergone fine filtration or synthetic oil with better performance.

Synthetic oils such as polyester oil and polyether oil can be selected. They have better oxidation resistance, wear resistance and low-temperature 

performance.
