1. Cooling Capacity (kW or kcal/h): 

This is a key parameter. It needs to be calculated based on the total heat generated by the hydraulic system. A rough estimate is: Cooling Capacity (kW) ≈ Hydraulic Pump Motor Power (kW) × 0.3-0.5. It's best to have a professional perform a precise calculation based on system efficiency and heat generation.

2. Cooling Method:

2.1 Water-Cooled Chiller: Requires a cooling tower and cooling water circulation system. Highly efficient, it's suitable for large cooling capacities and water-scarce areas, but the initial investment is high.

2.2 Air-Cooled Chiller: This type of chiller has a built-in fan and dissipates heat through air, similar to an air conditioner. It's easy to install and is the most commonly used type for hydraulic presses, but is significantly affected by ambient temperature. 

3. Pump Head and Flow: 

Ensure the chiller's built-in pump's head and flow rate can overcome resistance in the hydraulic system's cooler piping and effectively deliver coolant.
